Following up on last year’s conversation Race & Rage, SCG is thrilled to invite you to Love & Rage — a dialogue with activist and Dharma teacher Lama Rod Owens. He is the author of Love & Rage: The Path of Liberation through Anger.
We live in a time when the politics of anger — who gets to be angry, how, when and at whom — infuses every institutional and cultural sphere. During an honest discussion rooted in grace, we will explore with Lama Rod Owens how to radically re-envision, respect, and embody the grief and generational trauma caused by systemic racism. When we honor the power of our personal and collective anger, we transition away from being reactionary to having clarity on how to channel it to heal and be effective changemakers.
Join Lama Rod Owens and SCG’s Phuong Pham to seek the narrative power of anger and begin transforming the nature of rage into a roadmap of liberation!
This event is part of the evolving Conversation Series, where progress-centered conversations meet tomorrow’s leaders. The series is part of evolve, SCG’s suite of programming championing transformational leadership.
