Dear ComNet New Yorkers,
It’s a new year in New York City! Let’s gather and learn with our fellow communications-for-good colleagues.
Join us Thursday, February 1 from 8:30–10 a.m. at Carnegie Corporation in Midtown Manhattan for breakfast, networking, and a conversation about why staff should be your first and most important audience.
We’ll hear from Fatima Jones (she/her), Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at The Apollo, and Farra Trompeter (she/her), Co-Director and Worker-Owner at Big Duck who will:
explore what it looks like to take a staff-first approach to communications,
share ways you can approach communications in a hybrid world of remote and in-office staff,
provide tips to get folks on board, and
examine how nonprofits can use internal communications to keep staff inspired.
They’ll also review a current case study about engaging staff during extended projects and the fine art of sub-branding via the opening of The Apollo Stages at the newly revitalized Victoria Theater.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of Carnegie Corporation of New York, this event is completely free for the ComNet NY LOCAL community.
We hope to see you there! Register now>>
