About the Location:
Ballard PCC is the first Living Building Challenge (LBC) Petal Certified grocery store in the world. Run by the International Living Future Institute, LBC is the globe’s most rigorous green building standard. The rooftop deck boasts views of the Ballard bridge and an art installation with a giant octopus sculpture. On the deck, customers can eat food purchased from PCC’s taqueria, pizza counter, and self-serve hot and cold bars. The deck is officially alcohol free, but have you tried Athletic Beer or fun N/A beverages yet? Oh, and they have parking!
