Alexa Borromeo

Alexa Borromeo is a senior social change storyteller at The Skillman Foundation where she leads multimedia storytelling about education systems change in Detroit and highlights the voices of youth, educators, and community. Alexa has held roles in the arts, youth development, and community engagement, including program director of Generation of Promise, a social justice and youth leadership program serving students across 15 Metro Detroit high schools, and community engagement and creative lead at Ford Motor Company. She holds a BFA in Art & Design and a Minor in Community Action and Social Change from the University of Michigan.
