Brandon McKinley

Originally from the Treasure Coast of Florida, Brandon (he/him) is the Communications & Marketing Specialist at Metro Caring, a Denver anti-hunger organization. In his role, Brandon partners with staff and community to advance the movement to end hunger at its root causes.

Previously, he worked at the University of Florida’s College of the Arts where he wrote, filmed, and photographed stories to demonstrate how the arts can be catalysts for change—in health, equity, technology, and community building.

In his free time, he’s proud to play percussion with the Mile High Freedom Bands, putting his music degree to work with fellow LGBTQ+ musicians.
