Caitlin Scott joined Full Court Press in 2015, bringing with her an extensive background in public relations and public affairs. Throughout her tenure at FCP, Caitlin has worked on clients with focuses ranging from economic justice and affordable housing, to community-building and ecosystem restoration. Caitlin is adept at media strategy and media relations. She has placed stories for clients in the Washington Post, San Francisco Chronicle, Mercury News, and the Sacramento Bee, among others. She is also well-versed in planning logistics for successful press conferences and community events. In recent years, Caitlin has managed media relations at large-scale national conferences including US Ignite Application Summit in Austin, Texas. Further drawing upon her expertise in media relations and outreach, she led the successful launch of the Hewlett Foundation’s Open Rivers Fund, a program to support dam removal projects throughout the American West. Lastly, Caitlin has implemented the local community outreach for Amazon operations in Northern California, planning and managing media at dozens of events at and near the company’s regional fulfillment centers. Prior to Full Court Press Communications, Caitlin worked in corporate public relations and public affairs firms based in Washington, D.C. and San Francisco. Caitlin holds a B.A. in political science from the University of California, Davis. She is a resident of San Francisco where she enjoys reading as many books as she can get her hands on, listening to Crooked Media podcasts, and exploring Golden Gate Park with her rescue wonderdog, Charles (Chuck for short).
