Michelle Shapiro
About
Michelle leads communications at Transform Health, a mission-driven consulting firm driving systems change to create healthy communities.
With over a decade of nonprofit communications experience, she has worked from global to local levels to advance health for all. Prior to joining Transform Health, Michelle directed web content strategy at the American Public Health Association to champion the public health field.
She previously managed communications at Mary’s Center, a federally qualified health center, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Michelle also supported the nation’s nearly 3,000 local health departments at the National Association of County and City Health Officials, and she fostered collaboration and learning in the global health field at CORE Group.
Michelle received her bachelor’s degree in communication from Boston University.
